13th Annual Volunteer Fair a Huge Success

Many, many thanks to all our Tobin families who donated materials and/or attended our 13th Annual Family Volunteer Fair on Saturday, November 3rd. While the rain kept everything inside, it was a wonderful day focused on fun and helping others. We are excited to share the results of this year’s efforts:

  • We made two no-sew blankets for Family Promise Metrowest
  • We filled 37 Five Bean Soup Mix Jars for the Natick Service Council
  • We stuffed 83 thank you bags for our local police officers and firefighters
  • We decorated and filled 107 snack bags for A Place to Turn Food Pantry
  • We rolled, cut and baked hundreds of dog biscuits for Buddy Dog Humane Society
  • We filled and tied dozens of cat toys for the Metrowest Humane Society
  • We raised $150.00 for Alex’s Lemonade Stand, $35.00 for Habitat for Humanity, and $124.00 for the American Red Cross
  • And we donated a huge amount of candy to our troops overseas!

Thanks again to all of you who participated in some way. It was a tremendous effort!
